Winding One-Point Perspective Drawings

This is a lesson that has been floating around the art blogs for some time. I originally saw the lesson on the now defunct the Waunakee Community School District website, by art teacher Sophie Wagner-Marx. She had some great student examples and a handout posted- thanks Sophie!!

This is a great lesson in both one-point perspective and creativity.
See all the steps I previously posted about HERE.

These are 12 x 18". Students used media of their choice to colour them.

I am an art teacher for grade 4-12 teaching in Thailand, but I'm from Canada! I came across this blog and I loved seeing the photos of your student's work, it made me homesick for Canada. I have done a number of your lessons, and my students love them. This project is just what I needed for my grade 7-8 students. Thank you for taking the time to share your lessons, it is such a gift.

Thank you so much Sarah. I'm assuming you're at an international school. Let me remind you how cold out winters can be! (at least where I live in Alberta). Other than that, Canada is wonderful! Thailand has such a rich culture to explore, you're also lucky to live there :)
