Oil Pastel Dragon Drawings

Grade 8 students made dragons out of clay- to prelude this, I had them design their dragon first as an oil pastel drawing. They were encouraged to lay down the color thick and could use bamboo sticks to scratch or 'etch' into the oil pastel to create patterns.
