Animal Valentines Drawing

Adorable animal valentines!  A quick and cute art lesson that my Grade 4 -6 students completed in one 40 minute period.
Materials: white copy paper, pencils, black markers, coloured markers, including red

Another wonderful lesson from the art website KROKOTAK. It has all the steps clearly laid out.

In pencil, sketch out an animal of your choice. I did a demo of this for my kids including how to draw a frame around it. Then, add texture fur lines using dashed lines. Outline everything in black markers. Finally, draw a heart somewhere and colour it in red (or other colours).

Cute!
