Valentine Cards for a Hospice

One of my students' parent works at a hospice in our community. They reached out to me to see if I'd be interested in having some art classes make holiday cards for the residents at their hospice. So a high school student and I ran a class called "Caring Card Making" where we made both Christmas and Valentine Day cards for both the residents and staff at the hospice.

I basically raided all the Dollaramas for holiday themed craft supplies.
They have so many good products these days!
Then I laid out different coloured cardstock and let the kids create any type of card they wanted.

I put them all in a gift bag and had them delivered to the hospice.
We home this brought a small bit of joy into their day.
