Paper Plate Pigs

There are loads of lessons on the internet for paper plate pigs at differing levels of difficulty. Here's an easy one: http://www.notimeforflashcards.com/2008/05/were-you-born-in-a-barn.html

My former Grade 1 class made these. Start off with some paper plates and cut out egg carton sections for the snouts.

Then the kids painted them all in tempera and I hot glued the snouts in the middle. As you can see by the colours, my kids were very 'creative' ha! ha!
