Hand Puppets

These cute hand puppets were made by my former Grade 1 students.  We made the heads out of a styrofoam ball, which they painted and then added embellishments to. They cut yarn for the hair and I hot-glued it on. I was lucky enough to have a parent volunteer sew all the fabric bodies- the students chose their fabric beforehand.  We then put on a puppet show, which was, um, er, 'interesting'... It was quite chaotic, let's just say!
