A simple but beautiful winter landscape painting.
Grade 5 students cut out a heart from pale blue cardstock.
(fold it in half and draw half a heart to make it symmetrical).
Using a wide flat bristle brush, paint vertical white stripes of various widths.
Then use a light grey paint and paint the birch tree markings across each tree trunk.
On a separate sheet of paper, students drew a cardinal and coloured it with markers.
Cut it out and glue onto the heart background. Pretty!
